The WAA Foundation
Good causes matter to us, and it’s important that we give back to our community. So, to celebrate 25 years in business, we’re proud to unveil The WAA Foundation.
Our aim: to raise money and create positive change for the charitable causes that matter to our people, their family and their friends. Crucially, The WAA Foundation does not simply donate funds to these causes – we take action to help them ourselves.
Thanks to The WAA Foundation, every WAA Group employee donates a full day to supporting a nominated project. That’s almost four months’ worth of people power pledged to help others.
Created in November 2011, The WAA Foundation is a registered charitable foundation administered by a board of WAA staff, adhering to a best practice code of trusteeship. All costs are paid by WAA – so every pound raised really does go towards making a difference.
How we're raising funds
The WAA Foundation is an extension of WAA’s wide range of charitable activities, which recently included running marathons, cycling from Land’s End to John o’ Groats, and running the Great Midlands Fun Run.
Now, with all fundraising dedicated to The WAA Foundation, we can directly turn these funds into action. On this page, you’ll be able to follow our fundraising activities throughout the year, donate, or even join in yourself.
We need your support
As a charitable trust, we need your help to make The WAA Foundation work. Want to donate, support us, get involved or nominate a cause? We’d love to hear from you.
